About Private Pay
Private pay means that you pay for services yourself instead of using insurance to cover the cost of therapy. It is also called out-of-pocket. While this is usually more expensive, it also offers the following advantages:
- Greater privacy because your records (e.g., diagnosis) are not shared with insurance companies
- Freedom to work with the professional of your choice (not just those who take your insurance)
- The ability to customize goals and make progress at your own pace (not monitored by insurers)
- Scheduling flexibility -you decide how often to meet with your therapist and the session duration
- No documentation or paperwork needs to be submitted to insurance companies
Insurances Accepted
